Indian cumin prices are still continuing their downward trend and, according to local traders, there is no end in sight for the time being. The main reason for the decline is the upcoming probable record production - although there could be major changes in the coming weeks. There are reports from the growing state of Gujarat that farmers have decided to remove their standing cumin crop and replace it with wheat due to the unfavourable weather conditions.
