GUJARAT. Weekly monitoring with the latest market information from India on cumin, coriander and turmeric, chilli, black pepper and cardamom as well as a price list for more than 70 products.

Cumin

After initially falling significantly compared to last week, cumin prices are now showing a slight upward trend. According to traders, arrivals for the next month will fall because farmers are busy sowing. Buyers tend to hold back because of the prevailing uncertainty about the development of the coronavirus and its impact on the market situation, and large purchases would be too risky. Grade A cumin currently costs USD 1,937/mt FOB India.
