Sultanas: No desire to enter long-term contracts

MANSIA. The SIAL is in full swing in Paris and sultana exports are booming in Turkey. Although the Lira has gained again in value throughout October, the currency is now declining gin value due ti conflict within the coalition government in Turkey.

 

Prices are stable for now

Since many market players from Turkey are currently attending the SIAL in Paris trading activities are limited and prices remain firm this week. Due to the devaluation of the euro, however, the prices have risen for buyers conducting purchases in euros. The raw material prices in Turkey remain on a stable level of 8.30-9.40 TRY/kg.
