Sultanas: Producers unable to resist attractive prices

MANISA. This season’s first table grapes are already being harvested in Turkey. Only limited volumes of sultanas from the 2017 crop are being traded in the spot market.

 

Exports remain strong

Farmgate prices currently range at 7.30 TRY/kg. Turkey managed to export as much as 3,800 mt of sultanas last week, despite the holidays and the short week.
