Sultanas: TMO announces base prices MANISA. Sultana production in Turkey is almost complete. The TMO has finally made a statement, but growers are still not satisfied. Exporters continue to adjust their prices.

Sultanas rather than table grapes

In many districts of the Turkish province of Manisa, growers have largely completed sultana production; only in Alaşehir is the harvest still underway. However, the rainfall at the start of this week is unlikely to have much impact on production, as sunny days with temperatures of 27-33°C are expected from Wednesday onwards, with night-time temperatures dropping to 17-19°C.
