Information regaring the recent Rice Tender

 Philippines rice tender deadline to bid was 25th July 2017 before 10:00 am.

The results are as follows:

19 companies from Asia will supply rice to Philippines.

  • -10 companies from Vietnam
  • -6 companies from Thailand
  • -2 companies from Singapore
  • -1 company from Myanmar

 

The total quantity – 250’000 is divided into 8 lots as follows:

  • -6 lots x 25’000 metric ton each
  • -2 lots x 50’000 metric ton each

The maximum bid that a bidder can bid is 50’000 metric tons.

The National Food Authority (NFA) has set a reference import price at $451.08 pmt on CIF terms. (Based on US$1 to P50)

The deliveries will be paid by the NFA within 15 days from the receipt and complete set of original documents from the respected supplier.

120’000 tons is expected to arrive in August and 130’000 tons in September.
