After facing difficult challenges, China resumes the export of rice and gets top level in market.

As the China is now the top producer, top consumer, top stockholder, top importer and a “rising exporter” of rice, the U.S. growers are asking where the U.S. stands on its ability to tap into the Chinese import market, which up to now has been confined primarily to nearby rice-producing countries such as Burma and Cambodia.

USDA has been working actively a phytosanitary protocol and signed it for access of rice to China.
