Blue poppy seeds: drought in the Czech Republic continues

CHRUDIM. The severe drought in the Czech growing regions is likely to have a negative impact on this year's yields. Meanwhile, the first price indications for the new crop are making the rounds.

There is still speculation about how much of the old crop is available on the market; market players estimate that it is around 6,000 mt, some expect higher values. At the same time, they report that a large part is of lower quality.
