BRUSSELS. Exports are up and running for wheat in France. Traders are questioning the US bumper corn crop. China is unofficially buying US soybeans and has purchased Australian rapeseed for the first time in fifteen years.

France sells large wheat volumes

A lift is out of the question for European wheat as the crop forecasts for Russia and Ukraine have been raised. Production estimates for Russia stand at 85.5 million mt. Exports are, however, up and running in France. Future of Egypt is said to have ordered up to seven Panamax containers over 400,000 mt of French wheat for USD 265.270/mt C&F. Egypt requires wheat to produce subsidised bread, which is consumed by two thirds of the population. Imports are necessary as the country missed the domestic procurement target of 4-5 millio
