NEW DELHI/VANCOUVER. International demand could be better for cashews. Quotations are not quite as expected in Vietnam. Suppliers are selling off remaining supplies in Benin and in Burkina Faso. Sellers are anticipating a turnaround in India.

International demand could be better

The overall cashew market is still weak as buyers are waiting for final supermarket prices before placing bids, though some are already requesting long-term contracts through to late 2027. While shipping delays and geopolitical uncertainty are slowing down actual purchases, there is strong demand for larger cashew sizes, especially from the Middle East.
