Dried apricots: the competition is growing

MALATYA. Turkey's dried apricot exports continue to be excellent, but competition with other producing countries is becoming increasingly fierce on the global market. Growers are very satisfied with the current weather conditions.

Total exports more than 10,000 mt higher

Turkish exporters report that exports are still running at full speed. Last week, 1,639 mt of dried apricots and apricot products were shipped overseas, compared to 1,404 mt in the same week last year. At 49,766 mt, total exports since the start of the season are more than 10,000 mt higher than the 39,043 mt shipped overseas in the same period last year.
