Dried apricots: first crop estimates for 2022

MALATYA. Now that the damage estimates in the growing regions have been completed, the crop forecast for the 2022/23 season has been published. The first price estimates are also making the rounds in the market.

First official data on the new crop

After the heavy hailstorms and night frosts in April, a commission had carried out damage assessments in the Turkish apricot growing areas - these have now been completed and the first crop forecasts have been announced. Agriculture and Forestry Provincial Director Tahir Macit commented on this at a press conference.
