MALATYA. Overall it is rather quiet in the Turkish dried apricot market. Nevertheless, export deliveries are making great strides.

Only large fruits are more expensive
The prices for dried apricots have been unchanged for several weeks now, except for minor corrections. However, there may be major differences between the offers of the various suppliers. Especially large dried fruits in good quality are 200-300 USD/mt more expensive than last year around this time. Dried apricots, No. 4 and smaller, on the other hand, are offered at a similar level.

Traders who want to turn their stocks into cash quickly are prepared to offer significantly lower prices than those who would have to stock up
