MALATYA. As far as prices are concerned, a mixed picture is currently emerging on the apricot market, which is also causing some surprises. There is also news from the organic sector.

High purchase prices

Interesting developments are taking place on the apricot market: Farmers report that their sales of sulphured apricots have increased significantly in the past few days and that the purchase prices are currently even higher than the sales prices. Market players even reckon that the pace of buying will pick up once again and that prices will rise further as a result. The purchased goods are added to the stocks in the warehouses for now.

The situation is different for organic apricots, which have declined slightly in price.
