Dried apricots: drying 70% complete

MALATYA. The harvesting process in Malatya is finished and 70% of this year's apricots have already been pitted and dried. Conditions are still excellent, however, prices are not falling.

Export prices largely unchanged

Prices for large dried apricots (Jumbo and no 1) continue to rise and natural apricots are in particularly high demand due to their limited availability. They are finding buyers quickly, especially on the domestic market, so that commodity prices for jumbo varieties are now at TRY 200/kg and export prices have also risen by a further USD 100/mt.
