MALATYA. Cold temperatures have delayed flowering. At the same time, the supplies of large dried apricots are running low, prompting prices to rise.

Late flowering also has a decisive advantage since frosty temperatures currently have no impact. Market participants reckon that the demand for fresh apricots and grapes from Turkey will be very good this year, which will in turn have an impact on dried fruit production.
