MALATYA. Shortly after the start of the season, prices for the new crop of dried apricots have already stabilised, but a rising trend can soon be expected for large dried fruits.

Growers are demonstrating a healthy self-interest
The Turkish domestic market itself has great interest in jumbo and size No. 1 dried apricots, which is likely to result in rising prices for these calibres. In general, growers are satisfied with the current price level, which is ensuring stable offers. Nevertheless, they prefer not to hand everything over to exporters at once, thus preventing a repeat of last year, when they were no longer able to profit from higher prices.
