Dried apricots: Natural apricots are cheaper again

MALATYA. Trading activities are largely subdued in Turkey. Domestic demand for natural dried apricots has also declined again this week.

Unsulphured dried apricots in jumbo continue to trade for USD 4.90 per kg FOB Mersin. The prices for no. 1 range as low as USD 4.00 per kg FOB, which is around USD 0.30 per kg less. The prices no. 2 and no. 3 dried apricots have also declined by USD 0.10-0.20 per kg since last week. Sulphured dried apricots have nominally declined in price this week.
