MALATYA. The shortage of goods and the upcoming Ramadan mean that there is currently little activity on the Turkish dried apricot market. Exports are also weak. However, market players expect new momentum from March onwards.

Market remains stable

According to the Turkish Meteorological Institute, rain is expected this week in the Turkish apricot-growing region of Malatya. Temperatures are expected to range between 3 and 5°C at night and between 11 and 13°C during the day. Market players report that the situation has not changed. As there are currently no goods available, there is no significant market news. Prices remain unchanged, the market is stable, and no market activity is expected in view of the upcoming Ramadan.
