MALATYA. Several traders are facing pressure to sell as they want to get rid of the current crop before the start of the new season. Buyers are advised to keep their eyes open for attractive offers.

 

No carry overs desired
Turkish dried apricots are offered at somewhat lower prices again and prices are not expected to increase for the time being. Several traders have stocked up heavily at the beginning of the season, at attractive prices, but face difficulties finding contracts for all their goods despite higher export figures. Now, they are looking for buyers for their remaining positions, which they look to sell before the beginning of the new season.
