BEIJING. Demand on the Chinese dried bean market is slowly recovering, but the price development is strongly dependent on the quality of the goods. Meanwhile, the difficult transport situation seems to be easing further.

Larger acreage for black kidney beans is possible

After the decline in recent months, black kidney bean prices have now been able to hold their level for several weeks. Conventional black kidney beans from China still cost USD 1,300/mt FOB Dalian, while organic goods are trading at USD 1,360/mt.
