BEIJING. While prices for black kidney beans continue to fall due to weak demand, the situation is different for red kidney beans. Mung bean imports from Myanmar are declining.

The situation on the market for Chinese black kidney beans currently appears to be somewhat stalled. The problem is that demand is weak, but traders are not willing to lower their prices to any great extent. As a result, there is still little trading activity and traders are sitting on their goods. However, as there are only a few kidney beans available overall, this is keeping prices somewhat stable.
