Prices continue to rise

Temperatures are far from ideal for the fruit trees in Aydin, Turkey's leading producing area for dried figs, and concerns are being voiced over the potential impact on this year's crop. Although rain is urgently required at this time of year, precipitation remains too low. In addition, the first processors have already run out of stocks and are no longer able to operate this season.
