AYDIN. Cooler temperatures and rain showers should create better conditions for the development of the fig crop in Aydin. Nevertheless, there are problems that could have a negative impact on yields.

Crop development slowed down

In Aydin, meteorologists are expecting moderate temperatures and the long-awaited rain showers towards the end of the week. The slightly cooler weather will also benefit the crop, as it ran the risk of developing too quickly, which would have been detrimental to yields in view of the dry weather so far.
