AYDIN. The upcoming elections are paralysing trading activity in the Turkish dried fruit market in many places. The outcome could have a decisive influence on the price development.

Weather holds up well

The Turkish dried fig market will hold no new developments at least until the elections next weekend. The weather also gives little cause for concern; daytime temperatures are at 26-29°C, as usual for this time of year, and the trees can develop well.
