Suppliers are waiting in the wings

The time has come: with slight delays, Turkish dried fig exporters will be allowed to start exporting dried figs from this Wednesday, 6 October 2021. The suppliers' preparations are in full swing. Compared to last year, exports will start a few days later, which is also reflected in the seasonal balance. Last week, 1,125 mt of dried figs and dried fig products were shipped overseas, compared to 5,611 mt this time last year, as the suppliers already had access to the 2020 crop.
