AYDIN. Market players give the all-clear regarding the dropped fruit and also overall the outlook for Turkish dried fig production in 2023 is very rosy.

Good crop expectations

Last week there was speculation about whether the fruit falling from the fig trees was caused by heat damage. In the meantime, however, market experts seem to agree that it was probably just excess fruit that had to give way so that the remaining figs have better growing conditions.
