AYDIN. Turkish dried fruit exporters discussed preparations for the start of the export season. Initial prices for the new crop are circulating on the market. Offers can vary greatly depending on quality and growing region.

Price expectations

Fig farmers in the Turkish province of Aydin have almost completed their harvest, and temperatures here are also expected to drop over the course of the week. During the day, it is expected to be 32-37°C, while at night it will cool down to 16-20°C. At present, therefore, there do not appear to be any unexpected risks to the completion of the drying period.
