Dried figs: price increases expected in the coming days

AYDIN. The Turkish dried fig market has already ended its main export season. Although demand is falling, prices are expected to rise further. This is also reflected in exports.

Buying interest is waning

Many Turkish dried fig traders have already considered the winter season as over. They are currently only active again for a short time when shipments are due. Similar to the sultana market, this is likely to continue until the end of the year, with the only difference being that the dried fig export season peaks in the first few months of a new season and the peak has therefore already been reached.
