AYDIN. Prices for Turkish dried figs have risen massively in recent days. Exporters fear that they will not be able to find buyers at this level. However, the trading business can still be maintained with release orders.

Massive price increase

The prices for dried figs on the Turkish market had remained stable for several weeks, but now they have risen sharply in just a few days. The current price level is causing concern among exporters, who fear that demand will dry up after the previously concluded contracts have been realised.
