AYDIN. The TMO has once again announced commodity prices for dried figs for which traders can apply. In the first half of June the prices will range between...

... TRY 14.25-21.25 per kg, from 15 June prices will increase to TRY 15.25-22.25 per kg. Due to the good crop, the TMO had bought dried figs from farmers this season to regulate market prices. These stocks are now being gradually reduced.

On the free market there is only a small amount of goods available, especially large dried fruits are becoming increasingly scarce. However, export prices are still holding the level of last week, after having risen only recently. Depending on the supplier, however, price deviations of several hundred USD per ton can occur.
