AYDIN. The weather is hot in Turkey. Just right for the development of the figs. Initial estimates for this year's dried fig production should be published in the middle of August.

Despite the late date in the season and low supplies, some traders have slightly reduced their prices for prompt deliveries once again. Price negotiations for dried figs from the new crop should already begin at the end of July.
