AYDIN. On the Turkish market for dried figs, trading is mostly handled via contracts, spot inquiries are usually only a bonus.

Prices are going up
That explains, how prices manage to remain stable over a longer period of time. Price changes, usually upward, occur only in situations of especially high demand. Larger dried figs have actually gained somewhat in price during the last weeks, whereas smaller fruit has dropped a bit.
