Flaxseed: Russia bans imports from Kazakhstan

ASTANA. Since the end of last week, Russia has imposed an import ban on numerous agricultural products from Kazakhstan. Transit is still possible, but only to a very limited extent.

Exports from Kazakhstan made more difficult

On 17 October 2024, the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision, Rosselkhoznadzor, officially imposed a ban on the import of wheat, lentils, flaxseed, tomatoes, peppers, melons and sunflower seeds from third countries from Kazakhstan to Russia.
