ORDU. As many businesses have been closed for Eid this week, the market was rather subdued. Although an official statement on the impact of the recent weather events on hazelnuts has been issued, producers and stakeholders have other concerns.

Market activity is limited due to Eid in Turkey. As Ramadan ended on the evening of Sunday 30 March Monday and Tuesday were a public holiday. In addition, all government offices along with some private businesses have remained closed all week. The only exception is an announcement made by Trabzon Chamber of Commerce Board Chairman Eyyüp Ergan concerning the impact of the recent snow.
