Hazelnuts: significant price drop

ORDU. The lack of demand is being felt on the Turkish hazelnut market, and prices have fallen significantly compared to last week. Many growers are holding back their goods and waiting for Ferrero to enter the market.

Price increases temporarily halted

After export prices for Turkish hazelnuts climbed once again last week, there have now been noticeable declines. The high prices are deterring buyers, and the lack of demand is now also having an impact on pricing. While commodity prices were still at TRY 310-320/kg last week, they have now fallen to TRY 280-300/kg, with particularly high-quality batches in the upper price range.
