Oilseeds update: confusion over flaxseed prices

FRANKFURT. Monitoring of the oilseed sector with day-to-day price comparisons.

Brown flaxseed from Eastern Europe is trading at around EUR 0.72/kg DDP Germany for prompt shipment. The situation is, however, entirely different for later shipments. Brown flaxseed with a 99.9% purity is, for instance, trading in a range of EUR 0.77-0.78/kg DDP Germany for shipment in summer (Jun-Sep) and golden flaxseed in a range of EUR 0.82-0.83/kg.
