Peanuts: USDA revises production estimates

BUENOS AIRES/NEW DELHI. Since 11 July, the export rates for many agricultural products form Argentina have become cheaper. This also has an impact on the peanut market.

Exports from Argentina become cheaper

Argentina intends to profit from the rise in global demand for fruit, vegetables and nuts and honey and has consequently reduced the export tariffs for several fresh and frozen agricultural products from 4 pesos to 3 pesos per US Dollar. Importers owill most certainly profit from these measures. Argentina is by far the most important supplier of peanuts to Germany.
