HANOI. The new free trade agreement EVFTA between Vietnam and the EU offers many advantages for both participants. Vietnamese exporters are currently shifting their business to online trading.

Online trade moves into focus

Now that export prices have hit record lows and many processing factories have had to cut back or shut down, there is an urgent need for action among Vietnamese cashew producers. Exporters are now trying to break new ground and are increasingly turning their attention to online trade. More and more of them are trying to market their goods on reputable e-commerce platforms such as AliBaba or Amazon in order to build up a larger group of customers worldwide and open up further foreign markets.
