Dried apricots: Turkey shows confidence

MALATYA. Turkey is pursuing ambitious goals as far as the exports of dried apricots are concerned. An important step has already been taken through the TMO's intervention purchases.

Decline in exports in Q1

Following the start of the season on 1 August, market players can now draw a balance for the first quarter of the 2020/2021 season. In total, exports of dried apricots and apricot products amounted to 25,342 mt worth USD 82,291,000, which represents a year-on-year decline in export volume of about 13.5%.
