Grain: global production estimates sharply revised

CHICAGO/PARIS. New export and production estimates have been issued for wheat and corn in the Black Sea Region and the EU along with revised IGC production estimates. Attention is shifting more and more towards 2021.

Capped Black Sea wheat exports set to reduce pressure

Due to Thanksgiving the US market is providing little impetus. Egypt's GASC authority has bought 175,000 mt of wheat in Russia at USD 262/mt CFR. Russian exporters are trying their best to step up shipments due to concerns that export quotas and export tariffs will be introduced. Russia has exported 20.7m mt of wheat so far. Export supplies are estimated at 40.8m mt. The country has found new buyers in Saudi Arabia, Morocco and Jordan and Sudan. Shipments to the EU have also been stepped up. Ukraine has exported
