PARIS. The corn markets weakened noticeably in the USA. Corn prices in Western Europe remained surprisingly stable, with prices continuing to plummet, not so much because of the crop rating for US corn as because of record levels of new coronavirus infection in six US states. US brokers warn that the Covid-19 pandemic is far from being over. Unfortunately, there have now been new infections among employees of the slaughterhouse Tönnies in Germany.
