Pine nuts: raw nut deliveries stuck at the border

BEIJING/ULAANBAATAR. Chinese pine nut traders have in some cases been waiting for more than a month for their raw nut deliveries from Russia, which do not cross the border. Meanwhile, exports from Mongolia are to be regulated via certificates in the future.

Germany increases imports by 30%

In the first ten months of last year (Jan-Oct 2020), 4,423 mt of pine nuts (08029050 Pine "Pinus spp." nuts, fresh or dried, whether or not shelled or peeled) were imported into Germany, which is an increase of around 30% on the same period in 2019 (3,405 mt).
