ATLANTA. Due to the very good demand for US pecans, stocks in cold stores are significantly lower than in 2020. Some shellers even have to import RCN.

Demand reaches all-time high

The pecan industry is one of the few that actually seems to be benefiting from the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. Since regular consumption of pecans is said to boost the immune system, demand has currently reached an all-time high, according to pecanreport.
