The harvest season 2020 is coming to an end and in the coming weeks it should be foreseeable whether the forecast of 68,000 metric tonnes made in June can be reached. Market players expect firmer prices and there will also be a 9.6% import duty for buyers from the EU market. This could have an impact on prices for prunes from Chile; already now a slight upward trend seems to be emerging.
