DALIAN. As most buyers have already stocked up at the start of the season, demand on the Chinese pumpkin seed market is now weakening noticeably. Shine skins from the new crop are also not yet convincing in terms of quality.

Moisture content too high

The Chinese pumpkin seed market is currently stable and prices are only showing slight nominal changes compared to the previous weeks. The quality of the new shine skin harvest is not yet one hundred per cent convincing, as traders say they often still have too high a moisture content, but most suppliers have already stocked up on larger quantities, which can now dry out in the warehouses.
