DALIAN. Traders in Europe are exasperated. In the meantime, Chinese pumpkin seed suppliers only see one way out of the current situation: a price offensive. Prices are moving towards last year's level.

 

Prices at an eleven-month low
Some have already given up while others try desperately to pique the interest of buyers by driving their prices down and down. So far without success. Organic pumpkin seeds, GWS, Grade A are currently only trading at 90 USD/mt over last year's level; at the lowest prices in eleven months.

The picture is similar for pumpkin seeds, Shine Skin, Grade A. With prices currently starting as low as 2,000 USD/mt CFR Hamburg, the offers remain around 200 USD/mt more expensive than at the same time last year. However, they hav
