DALIAN. Demand for Chinese pumpkin seeds could be better, while prices appear to be stabilising for the time being. Seed sales indicate that growers will increase shine skin cultivation.

Little buying interest

After the persistent increases of recent weeks, prices for shine skins on the Chinese pumpkin seed market now appear to be gradually stabilising and there have been slight decreases compared to last week. Exporters have gradually replenished their stocks in recent weeks in order to fulfil their existing contracts. However, as export demand has still not improved significantly, most of them have refrained from stocking up on more than the bare essentials.
