DALIAN. Today (1.2.), the Lunar New Year is celebrated in China and the Year of the Tiger begins. The celebrations around the Chinese New Year mean that markets are virtually paralysed this week and many factories are temporarily closed.

Prices remain stable

Already in the course of last week, the first factories have stopped work in preparation for the holidays. Trading activities are accordingly limited, and pumpkin seed prices should not be subject to any significant changes. Next week things will look different again and life should come back into the market. Depending on the demand situation, prices could move up or down, although it should be noted that they are already at a comparatively high level.
