In Fars province, which is the country’s largest grape producing region, the cold weather in spring and drought have reduced yields from 25 metric tonnes per hectare to 15 metric tonnes per hectare over the last few years. Annual fresh grape production ranges at 3.191 million metric tonnes in Iran. The four largest producing provinces include Fars, Hamedan and Qazvin and Khorasan Razavi.
